On January 23^rd, the members of the board convened at Clay Elementary School. As part of the board meeting, Clay Elementary was given an opportunity to showcase their school and students. Sadie Bird was chosen to represent CES as an honorary board member. Sadie has the highest overall GPA, excellent attendance, highest iReady math and reading scores and currently has the highest amount of Accelerated Reading points. A group of CES students were given the opportunity to perform two songs: Country Roads and One Nation. These students did an excellent job. Finally, Clay Elementary displayed a video that highlighted the opportunities provided and performance of their students with a little help from Taylor Swift. Thank you to all the students and staff for making Clay Elementary such a great place to learn.
