Students Participate in Adulting Day at CCHS
On Friday, February 2nd, Clay County High School, in conjunction with Project Aware WV, hosted their annual Adulting Day. Students began preparing for this competition at the start of January in their Links Advisory Groups. That preparation culminated in the adulting day competition where the advisory groups faced off. These groups competed against each other in real world skill competitions ranging from tire and diaper changing to tax filing to utilizing day care services and so much more. Not only is the competition beneficial for students entering the real world after graduation, but it is also a fun and engaging way to incorporate the WV Student Success Standards. Thank you to all the students, teachers, Project Aware team members, local community members and State Department members who made Adulting Day a success at Clay County High School
