On February 9th, students from the four area elementary schools competed in the annual county Math Field Day. After a fierce day of competition, four students from both grades 4 and 5 would advance to the Regional Math Field Day.

At the 4th grade level, two students from Big Otter Elementary would claim 1st and 3rd place overall. While a student from Clay Elementary would claim 2nd and a student from Lizemore Elementary would place 4th and become the alternate for the Regional Math Field Day.

At the 5th grade level, students from Clay Elementary would claim 1st, 2nd and 4th place (alternate), while a student from Big Otter would finish 2nd.

We would like thank everybody for making this annual event possible and congratulate all the kids who competed for their hard work.
